Seems some of us have forgotten the Power of Prayer..

Everywhere I turn lately, I am reminded about the Power of Prayer.  God is teaching me that I need to spend more time praying fervently.  How ’bout you?

The following is taken from the April “Prayer and Praise Time”  bulletin.

—Prayer Commands (Hooks) of the Bible that Believers should pray regularly:

1.  Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Psalm 122:6

2.  Pray for those who spitefully use you. Matthew 5:44

3.  Pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.  Matthew 9:38

4.  Pray lest you enter into temptation.  Matthew 26:41

5.  Pray for us ( God’s servants) that the Word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified.  II Thess. 3:1

6.  Pray that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men.  II Thess.3:2

7.  Pray..first of all..for all men.  I Timothy 2:1

8.  Pray..for kings and for all who are in authority.  I Timothy 2:2

9.  Pray for us (servant leaders) that we will have a good conscience in all things desiring to live honestly.  Hebrews 13:18

10.  Pray for one another.  James 5:16
